Yngwie Malmsteen: Live at Budokan

This is one of Yngwie’s finest performances. As someone who has often been guilty excessive playing and/or stage arrogance, this concert takes a different direction. "Live At Budokan" comes across as more of a band effort than an "…;Yngwie-spotlight". The sound mixes are very good; loud keyboards and bass. Malmsteens guitar tone is prominenet, but subdued and clean sounding. The band is super tight as well. "Never Die" and "Forever One" are the real gems in this show! This marks one of the era’s where Yngwie exercised more humility, and the end result is a much better show!
